New Audiologist Joins Wheeling Hospital

WHEELING, W.Va. – Audiologist Dr. Brandon Lichtman has joined the growing staff of health care specialists at Wheeling Hospital. With long-time area audiologist James Frum, M.S., Lichtman is seeing patients in Tower 3, Suite 223, at the hospital.
Lichtman specializes in pediatric audiology as well as vestibular assessment, an issue seen in older adults.
He received his bachelor's degree is communication sciences and disorders at The College of Wooster in Ohio and his doctorate in clinical audiology at Nova Southeastern University in Fort Lauderdale, Fla. Lichtman trained alongside renowned neurotologists focusing on vestibular assessment and treatment. During his studies, Lichtman also became specialized in pediatric audiology, including evaluations in central auditory processing disorders.
Following his studies, Lichtman received further training in intraoperative neurophysical monitoring and received his board certification. Lichtman is also certified by the American Institute of Balance and by the American Board of Audiology.
“My training has been focused on diagnostic audiology of all ages, vestibular assessment and treatment, and hearing aid technology,” Lichtman said. “I am very excited to join the Wheeling Hospital family of exceptional physicians and specialists.”
Lichtman resides in Mount Lebanon, Pa., with his wife, Natalie, and 1-year-old son, Carter Jacob.
