Jessica Ybanez-Morano, M.D., is the Medical Director for Women’s Health Specialists in Wheeling Hospital. Her surgical expertise and interest are focused on minimally invasive advanced laparoscopic surgery, urogynecology and pelvic surgery. She also is the Obstetrics and Gynecology Director for the Family Medicine Residency Program of Wheeling Hospital and was awarded Teacher of the Year in 2010. Dr. Ybanez-Morano is doubly boarded with the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists and the American College of Physician Executives. She maintains academic clinical assistant professorship affiliations with many universities including West Virginia University School of Medicine, West Virginia School of Osteopathic Medicine and Marietta College Physician Assistant Program. Dr. Ybanez-Morano graduated summa cum laude from Seton Hill University, and received dual degrees MD (Doctor of Medicine) and MPH (Masters in Public Health) from West Virginia University and the Johns Hopkins University. She is a Fellow in the American Society for Colposcopy and Cervical Pathology and the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology. She also is a Certified Physician Executive from the American College of Physician Executives. Dr. Ybanez-Morano maintains a dynamic surgical consultancy schedule. She has taught and precepted colleagues in general surgery, gynecology and urology. She lectures and presents at various professional conferences extensively which included the 19th Annual Conference of the Society of Laparoendoscopic Surgeons in New York City, grand rounds at various hospitals and advanced laparoscopic surgical labs.
