The Wellsburg Clinic, located at 1423 Commerce Ave., offers quality medical care to residents of Brooke, Jefferson, Hancock and Washington counties. The physical therapy services of Wellsburg Clinic have grown to allow even more patients to take advantage of the latest in physical therapy treatments in a setting close to home. By moving just two doors north to 1503 Commerce Ave., the clinic physical therapy services have expanded, yet the staff still offers individual rehabilitation programs to suit each patient’s needs. Physical therapy at the Wellsburg Clinic places emphasis on moving patients from the acute painful stage into preparation for exercise and eventually to preventive home exercises. Rehabilitation is available for patients with job- or sports-related injuries; post-surgery patients; those suffering from neck and back pain; and patients with overuse injuries to knees, shoulders and other areas. Physical therapy is open from 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday, Wednesday and Friday; and 7:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Tuesday and Thursday. The clinic laboratory is open from 7 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., and X-rays and EKG are available from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Patient referrals accepted from all local physicians.
