Criteria for Residency Applicants
AOA
- Graduate from an AOA-accredited college of osteopathic medicine.
- Graduation from medical school within five years.
- Passed COMLEX II, including the clinical skills portion of the exam.
- Be or become a member of the AOA and ACOFP. These memberships must be maintained throughout residency.
- Be appropriately licensed in the state in which training is conducted.
- In order to be accepted as an OGME-2 resident, the applicant must have completed an AOA- approved internship or its equivalent.
Sports Medicine Program
The Sports Medicine Program in the Family Medicine residency provides an emphasis on musculoskeletal medicine in primary care and experience as a team physician on a local, state and national level.
