Wheeling Hospital Offering LSVT Program for Parkinson’s Disease Patients

WHEELING, W.Va. – A program on the Lee Silverman Voice Treatment (LSVT) for Parkinson’s disease patients will be held at Wheeling Hospital at 5 p.m. June 28 in conference rooms C and D.
LSVT is a unique program beneficial and effective for treating Parkinson’s disease. The program is comprised of two components: BIG, the physical therapy portion targeting whole body movements for daily living activities; and LOUD, the speech portion that targets loud, clear speech.
Wheeling Hospital has both speech and physical therapists certified in this program.
