Sorority Assists Schiffler Patients

August 7, 2017

The sisters of Beta Rho Epsilon (BPE) of West Liberty University recently made their third annual donation of cancer care kits to Wheeling Hospital’s Schiffler Cancer Center. From left are: Amie Matyas, manager of Schiffler Medical Oncology; Mia Huck, outgoing Philanthropy chair of BPE; and Dr. Ranjita Pallavi, hematologist and medical oncologist at Schiffler. Each kit contains personal care items, snacks, stationery and a handwritten, inspirational quote. BPE was established in 2009 at WLU and every year the sisters continue their efforts in raising funds and awareness in the fight against cancer.
