Wheeling Hospital’s Dr. Milton Named to ACOI Board

WHEELING – Dr. C. Clark Milton, director of Corporate Health at Wheeling Hospital, has been appointed to a one-year term on the American College of Osteopathic Internists (ACOI) Board of Directors.
Milton, who also is director of Medical Education at Wheeling Hospital, has been an academic Fellow of the ACOI since 2007. He also has served as president of the West Virginia Osteopathic Medical Association.
“It is a privilege and honor to serve a leadership role in a preeminent national organization such as the American College of Osteopathic Internists,” Milton said. “For more than 75 years the ACOI has been dedicated to the advancement of medical knowledge and professionalism for the ever changing needs of osteopathic internal medicine physicians and their patients.”
A graduate of the West Virginia School of Osteopathic Medicine, Milton completed his residency training at the West Virginia University School of Medicine, where he was chief resident.
Milton is certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine. In addition to being named to the ACOI board, Milton has served on its Continuing Medical Education Committee for the past three year.
