Stop the Bleed Taught at St. C. Rotary

Members of the St. Clairsville Rotary Club recently participated in the Stop the Bleed program instructed by Wheeling Hospital staff. The Rotarians were shown how to control major hemorrhaging resulting from a single incident or mass casualty situation. Among the hospital staff demonstrating bleed control techniques was Jeff Gazdik, center, hospital EMS coordinator. Participating in the demonstration were Jessica Rine, executive director of the United Way of the Upper Ohio Valley, and Trevor Bigler, attorney at Myser & Myser Law.
