Fall Program Aimed at Prevention

Reviewing one of the topics at Wheeling Hospital’s recent Fall Prevention Program are, from left: Stephanie Isaly, the hospital’s Trauma Program manager; physical therapist Dr. Thomas McFadden; and audiologist Dr. Brandon Lichtman, director of the Center for Audiology. McFadden and Lichtman also are with the hospital’s Center for Dizziness and Balance. Isaly said falls are consistently the number one injury seen in the Emergency/Trauma Center. The program touched on several different aspects that may contribute to a person’s risk of falling.
