Nurse Practitioner Week Being Observed at Wheeling Hospital

Getting ready to celebrate National Nurse Practitioner (NP) Week Nov. 10-16 are some of Wheeling Hospital’s 32 NPs. Wheeling Hospital NPs work in various departments, physician offices and hospital affiliates, including Harrison County Hospital, the Wheeling Clinic, Shadyside Clinic and the Bridgeport Family Health Center. They all are members of the American Association of Nurse Practitioners, the largest professional membership organization for NPs of all specialties. There are approximately 270,000 NPs in the U.S.
