Auxiliary Donates Car, Shuttle Bus to Wheeling Hospital

December 13, 2019

For the third time, the Auxiliary of Wheeling Hospital has donated a new car to the hospital. The vehicles are used for deliveries among the hospital's various medical and business offices throughout the area, transporting patients to and from their homes, as well as for delivering medical supplies to patients' homes. The Auxiliary conducts a variety of fundraising activities each year to benefit the hospital and its patients. Recently, the Auxiliary also donated to the hospital a new shuttle bus, which is used for transporting employees to and from hilltop parking lots. From left are: Rowena Baker, Auxiliary president; hospital CEO Douglass Harrison; and Rebecca Martino, Auxiliary president-elect.
