Michael Zilles, M.D., is a board-certified member of the orthopedic surgery staff. He received a bachelor's degree in biomedical engineering from Duke University and his medical degree from George Washington Medical School. Dr. Zilles performed a surgery internship at Mount Sinai Hospital New York, and his orthopedic surgery residency at SUNY Brooklyn Health Science Center. He also completed a sports medicine fellowship. Before moving to Wheeling, Dr. Zilles worked at Adirondack Medical Center in New York and Sampson Regional Medical Center in North Carolina. From 2001-10, he also served as an assistant clinical professor in orthopedic surgery at Duke University.
