Harrison Community Hospital
Harrison Community Hospital (HCH) is a 25-bed critical access hospital located in Cadiz, OH, and has been an affiliate of Wheeling Hospital since 2017.
The hospital is truly a community hospital, as members of the community saw a need for a health care facility close to home, and decided to take action.
Through their dedication and the generosity of the community, HCH broke ground in 1968. The hospital saw its first patient in January 1970 and has been proudly serving the community ever since.
HCH offers a wide range of healthcare services including: 24-hour Emergency Department; surgical services; laboratory services; advanced imaging services, including MRI; vascular studies;
cardiac rehab; physical, speech and occupational therapy; skilled nursing services; sleep studies; chemotherapy; women’s health; pain management, and more.
Along with a wide range of services, the hospital also boasts a diverse medical staff which includes the specialties of: ENT, audiology, podiatry, urology, pulmonology,
gastroenterology, cardiology, hematology, oncology, gynecology, pain management, nephrology, family medicine, and general primary care services.
It is the mission of HCH to provide the highest level of quality health care to all people of its service area regardless of age, sex, religion, national origin and ability to pay.
This mission, under the guidance of a community-based board of trustees, is implemented using the philosophy of reaching out to provide services as near to the populace as possible.
